Frequently asked questions
The questions we hear most often about the Farm Audit, our service area, and how engagements work.
What’s included in a Farm Audit?
Every Farm Audit includes a USDA program eligibility review, a compliance and PFAS risk assessment, an operations and recordkeeping audit, and a prioritized implementation roadmap. See the Farm Audit page for the full scope.
How much does a Farm Audit cost?
Pricing depends on operation type, total acreage, and audit scope. After a thirty-minute discovery call, we send a fixed-price proposal within 48 hours. There is no cost to find out whether an engagement is a fit.
What is your service area?
AgriTailor works exclusively with farms in Tennessee and the North Carolina Piedmont. This isn’t a marketing line — the local focus is what lets us know the specific USDA service centers, soil patterns, PFAS contamination history, and Extension contacts that apply to your operation.
What size operations do you work with?
Typically fifty to one thousand acres, row crop or livestock. We aren’t a fit for hobby farms, and we aren’t the right partner for commercial agribusiness operations with dedicated in-house agronomy and compliance staff.
How do payments work?
ACH transfer or check. We discuss specifics during onboarding.
What happens after the audit?
Many clients move from a one-time Farm Audit to an ongoing monitoring retainer — grant deadline tracking, compliance dashboards, quarterly soil and water analysis, annual roadmap refresh. The audit is structured so that retainer is an option, never an obligation.
How do I get started?
Send an inquiry through the contact form, or call (615) 245-7055. We’ll get back to you within one business day.
Still have questions?
The best way to find out whether AgriTailor fits your operation is a discovery call.
